For the longest time, I thought pumpkin patches were mostly useless and reserved for small children or even television specials like “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.”
I guess I never really experienced life then, because they were amazing opportunities to spend time with Katherine. Sometimes we would use the same pumpkins later for carving competitions, but most of the time they were just used as props to be seen in a photo and simply discarded as if their worth never really mattered.
Here’s hoping with children on the horizon within 5 years we will remember to take them with us to experience the same magic.
