When I was in middle school and high school, I was obsessed with the television network “FOX”. I watched virtually every show on the network, my favorites including The Simpsons (reruns everyday at 630PM, The O.C., 24, and eventuallly Glee in college. This picture was taken in high school during Rancho’s “50th anniversary” celebration.
I thought by majoring in communications I would eventually pursue a career in broadcasting in someway. Needless to say, those dreams fell flat when I didn’t have a car to get to internships in college. And so a backup plan was needed which eventually resulted in me teaching. Will I ever use my Communications degree for anything? Probably not.
I guess it’s a good thing in the end because FOX ended up being bought out by Disney anyway which now I have a vested interest in due to my stock portfolios.
