Weak Asian

This picture is an illustration of me at the beach in high school as a weak-ass Asian.

It’s important to recognize that comparing ourselves to others, whether it’s a sibling like Jackie Tran (who is super fit) or someone else, can lead to negative feelings and a decrease in self-esteem. This can have a significant impact on our mental and emotional well-being, as well as our physical health. So long as I’m kind of somewhat fit and not massively obese like those in My 600 Lb Life, or the movie “The Whale”, body positively is a good thing (to an extent).

It’s important to set achievable goals and focus on personal growth and self-improvement no matter who you are. This can include engaging in physical activity that we enjoy (like going on Stairmaster at Planet Fitness), eating a nutritious and balanced diet (Phil’s BBQ), and prioritizing our mental and emotional health through self-care (blogging) and stress management (spooning). By focusing on personal growth and self-improvement, we can improve our overall well-being and increase our sense of self-worth, regardless of how we compare to others. Let’s prioritize our mental and physical health and celebrate our unique qualities and strengths (like my introversion and high anxiety).
