Nandhu’s Wedding

Congrats to my friend Nate (Nandhu). I had the pleasure of delivering a wedding toast and here is what I wrote/said:

I am honored to stand here today and raise a toast to my dear friend Nate, whom I have known for over a decade. We first met at UCSD, and I still remember how he arrived late to our first meeting at Panda Express. I guess he was running on “Indian Standard Time”. But little did I know that this delay would be the start of a wonderful friendship that has lasted through the years, despite the distance and life’s ups and downs.

Over the years, Nate has become more than just a friend to me. He is a confidant, a sounding board, and a mentor. We have shared countless deep conversations about life, love, and everything in between. I always admire his introspective nature and his ability to think deeply about everything. His meticulous spreadsheet of all the dates he’s been on over the years is a testament to his attention to detail and his desire to make the most of every moment.

When I heard that Nate was marrying Estee after only a short time of dating, I was initially surprised. But knowing Nate as I do, I quickly realized that this decision was made with great care and consideration. And seeing the way that they look at each other and the happiness that radiates from them, I know that they are meant to be together.

Nate’s dedication to helping others is evident in his work at the Social Security Administration, where he tirelessly works to make a positive impact on people’s lives. He is always willing to lend an ear and offer wise advice, and I know that he will be a loving and supportive husband to Estee.

As they embark on this new journey together in Georgia, I am filled with happiness for Nate and Estee. I know that they will face challenges along the way, but I also know that they have the strength, the love, and the support of each other to overcome anything that comes their way. So let us raise a glass to Nate and Estee, and wish them a lifetime of happiness, love, and joy. Congratulations, my dear friend, and cheers to the newlyweds!
