One of the best people I know is Michelle. I’ll never forget when she took me to Phil’s BBQ after my last day at Rise Kohyang middle school. It was a kind gesture and was one of those moments that truly solidify a friendship.
Even though she is a vegetarian, she is one of those people that will be willing to eat anywhere with you, even if there happens to be nothing on the menu for her to possibly eat. Her kindness and generosity is equally as important as her work ethic. I remember her staying at school till 9PM on so many nights just to lesson plan, grade, and make sure every lesson is perfectly crafted for her students. She is truly committed to her craft and is an inspiring teacher, even if her students don’t appreciate it as much as they should. An equal level of commitment is given to her video gameplay, exceeding countless hours in Zelda.
Whatever lies in her future, I’m glad she’s achieved tenure before all of us. While we’re all stuck in the dust. She truly deserves it.
