Today’s assembly at Dale Junior High featured BMX riders showcasing their incredible skills and delivering inspiring messages to our students. While the performance was engaging, the highlight of the event was undoubtedly the teachers’ involvement. I eagerly volunteered to be jumped over by one of the BMX riders, as it promised to be a memorable experience.
However, I didn’t quite anticipate the level of risk involved. The rider successfully jumped over us, but it was a close call, and we were lucky to escape unscathed. Nevertheless, the experience was a testament to the bravery and dedication of our teachers at Dale Junior High.
As the school year draws to a close, we are faced with the challenge of keeping our students engaged and motivated. Despite the inevitable behavioral challenges, it’s a bittersweet ending to another academic year. I’m proud to have been a part of the Dale Junior High community and look forward to an unpredictable future.
