Lab Safety Signs

Before graduating from UCSD, I was given the task of designing a comprehensive safety brochure that demonstrated the differences between Biosafety Level 1, 2, 3, and 4. For the first time in my life I was asked to be a model, not for my looks, but rather to visually represent examples of what each biosafety level entails. The pictures were used to create a safety brochure incorporating my pictures digitally transformed by the professional touch of A.S. graphic studios.

To ensure wide accessibility and visibility, I was told to place empty brochure containers outside all laboratories on campus. I have no idea whether these brochures are there or not seeing that I rarely visit the campus. (And even if I did, I wouldn’t really just randomly go into a laboratory to check).

Nonetheless, I remain hopeful that the images featuring me, which were incorporated into the brochures, are there somewhere on campus, perpetually immortalizing me in the heart of the University that I mostly enjoyed my time at.
