Went to Bella Terra today in Huntington Beach. I’ve had many fond memories of this place since 2008. One notable moment was in high school, when during a dinner with some classmates, tear gas happened to break out forcing everyone to migrate (briefly) into buildings to prevent them from breathing it into their lungs. It was strange, and odd, and luckily not a terrorist attack.
Of course this place will always hold fond memories in my heart. Because of all the times I’ve gone to Barnes & Nobles to study, look for books, and of course waste time/window shop. Cheesecake factory is delicious whenever we are feeling the need to splurge on food. Even though their cheesecakes are excessively bad for you being over 1200-1800 calories each (FOR A SLICE). Madness. And of course this was where we got our engagement and wedding rings, from Princess Bride Diamonds, a venue I highly recommend to anyone looking to propose. A few years ago they were able to fight and fend off some thieves that broke into their jewelry store.
Of course our main objective here was to catch a movie at the Cinemark. I like the general ambience of these theaters because there are usually less annoying teenagers around (compared to the block). I have high hopes that Spider-Man: Across the SpiderVerse will be an excellent movie because it is from Lord and Miller – creators of The Lego Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Clone High (a new favorite of mine). Fingers crossed.
